Finance Business Partner

Location: Perth, WA

Engagement: Permanent

Salary: $135,000 + Superannuation 

 

Who you will be working with
You’ll partner closely with divisional leaders across the business, providing financial insight, analysis, and guidance that drives decision-making and performance. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting strategic financial planning, forecasting, and reporting, while influencing business outcomes across multiple teams.


Your impact and contribution
This role is about influence, partnerships and turning financial data into actionable insight. You’ll be responsible for budgeting, rolling and 5-year forecasts, financial modelling, and business case evaluation. By identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, optimise costs, and simplify processes, you’ll help divisional leaders make confident, informed decisions. Your contribution will directly support operational performance, strategic priorities, and long-term growth.


Responsibilities

  • Partner with divisions to prepare budgets, rolling forecasts, and 5-year forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
  • Analyse business cases, model scenarios, and review KPIs to provide clear, actionable financial insights
  • Prepare management accounting packs, monitor budget variances, and support divisional decision-making
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimisation across divisions
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, influencing decisions and supporting commercial outcomes
  • Travel regionally as required to provide financial guidance to teams across WA
     

Qualifications and experience you will need to be considered

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related disciplinis, and financial modelling
  • Deep commercial acumen with the ability to translate complex financial information into practical insights
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with non-finance stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP systems (e.g., Ellipse), and business intelligence tools

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to act quickly in changing situations.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
