Project Lead - Dynamics 365

Location: Perth, WA

Engagement: Permanent

Salary: $175,000 + Superannuation 


Who you will be working with. 

Join a transformation team and lead the successful delivery of enterprise technology projects. Reporting directly to the Head of Transformation, you will play a key role in delivering a significant Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) implementation while supporting broader digital initiatives across the business. 


Your impact and contribution.

This role will directly influence how technology enables business strategy across the organisation. You’ll be responsible for the successful delivery of a high-profile Microsoft D365 program, impacting process efficiencies, data-driven decision-making, and operational scalability. Your effective stakeholder engagement skills will shape how the business adopts digital systems, ensuring that lasting value is realised through structured, well-governed project execution.  


You will be responsible for deploying, adapting, and executing end-to-end project management services across multiple sites. You’ll drive the full lifecycle of projects from planning and estimation to delivery and handover, ensuring alignment with business goals, client expectations, and contractual obligations.


Responsibilities.

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology projects with a primary focus on Microsoft      Dynamics 365
  • Define project scopes, create schedules and cost estimates, and manage delivery performance
  • Deliver projects in line with company strategy,   transformation objectives, and contractual requirements
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, vendors, contractors, and key internal stakeholders
  • Procure and manage project resources, ensuring high-quality outcomes and risk mitigation
  • Establish and lead effective cross-functional project teams across business and IT
  • Review and authorise project schedules, subcontractor engagements, and major scope variations
  • Support the wider transformation portfolio, collaborating closely with commercial and contract management teams


Qualifications and experience you will need to be considered.

  • Proven experience managing enterprise technology projects, including ERP/CRM platforms such as Microsoft D365
  • Strong end-to-end project management experience across multi-site and enterprise environments
  • High level of commercial awareness, including budgeting, procurement, and contract oversight
  • Excellent leadership, relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management skills
  • Experience in aligning project delivery with strategic transformation objectives
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile, or hybrid
  • Project management and change management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, PROSCI) is advantageous
  • Background in digital transformation or enterprise system replacement programs
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to act quickly in changing situations.

Your impact and contribution.

As Senior Software Engineering Manager, you will lead a cross-functional product engineering team to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable platforms in support of the company's strategic roadmap.

This hybrid role requires a combination of deep technical leadership, strong people management, and close collaboration with product and delivery teams all within a highly regulated environment.

You will be instrumental in driving engineering excellence across full-stack development, DevOps, AI/ML integration, and compliance with regulatory standards including TGA and FDA.


What you'll be doing.

Technical Leadership & Delivery | Lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable cloud platforms. Guide full-stack teams (frontend, backend, DevOps, QA), introduce AI tools and automation, and uphold best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation. Drive engineering rituals and compliance with ISO 13485 and regulatory standards.

Culture & Continuous Improvement | Influence a high-performance, delivery-focused engineering culture. Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and lead initiatives around observability, incident response, and quality assurance.

Collaboration & Product Alignment | Work closely with Product, Architecture, and Delivery teams to ensure technical solutions support business goals. Balance features, platform evolution, and compliance while ensuring smooth integration across systems.

Stakeholder & Change Leadership | Represent engineering in leadership forums and technical escalations. Translate complex requirements into scalable solutions and lead change initiatives that uplift delivery, tools, and team capability.


Qualifications and experience you will need to be considered.

  • 8+ years in full-stack development (Node.js, Python, React, AWS, CI/CD)
  • 5+ years in technical leadership with team management
  • Experience in regulated industries (Healthtech or Fintech ideal)
  • Strong knowledge of architecture, microservices, security, and agile delivery
  • Exposure to AI/ML tools and data platforms preferred
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skill
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (required)
  • Postgraduate qualifications or MBA (desirable but not essential)
  • Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect), Agile/Scrum, or DevOps practices (advantageous)
