Who you will be working with. 

A strategic project team that is committed to driving excellence in technology delivery. You will support a Program Manager and work alongside a number of other Project Managers, Business Analysts and Project Support professionals. 

Your experience and contribution.

As an experienced program and portfolio support professional you will have a strong understanding of PMO methodologies and consistent experience in governance, structure, and project standardisation. You will contribute to planning pipelines, executing roadmaps, and highlighting financial and business change impacts. You will play a vital role in driving the success of our large and complex technology portfolio by providing accurate and insightful analysis, making informed decisions, and acting swiftly in response to stakeholder challenges.

Responsibilities.

• Pipeline Planning: Develop and manage the project pipeline, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and resource availability.
• Strategic Support: Provide strategic insight  and contribute to project roadmaps, incorporating financial impacts, business change considerations, and timeline management.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project deliverables align with business needs and objectives.
• Financial Management: Oversee project budget tracking, financial forecasting, and impact analysis to ensure projects are financially viable.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and review project status reports, documentation, business cases, change requests, and other essential project artifacts.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Identify and report compliance issues, ensuring adherence to governance frameworks and mitigation of project risks.
• Meeting Coordination: Organise and manage project meetings, governance activities, and maintain project calendars.
• Contract Administration: Assist in contract administration functions to support project delivery and vendor management.
• Continuous Improvement: Develop and maintain a database of template documentation and best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications and experience you will need to be considered.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a traditional PMO environment with exposure to P3O and PMO methodologies.
• Strong understanding of project governance, structure, and standardisation.
• Experience in planning project pipelines and executing roadmaps.
• Ability to analyse financial impacts, manage business change, and maintain timelines.
• Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, MS Office).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
